Melting Away
Once more thy will crushed
Smashed against the clear glass
Watch it on both sides
A piece of heart now lies there
Engraved as if in steel
The distrust and the pain
Felt only by thou
And tough in high words one sings
About the loyalty and honour
One cannot but for a moment
Doubt the feeling is alive
But the riddle still remains
Truth it is, or deceit again
Against thy soul being pushed again
Like a knife in an open wound
Such as salt on a bleeding heart
Just as fire in thy circle of cold
Piece by piece is melting
And destroyed by time and betrayal
The claws of death seem now
A warm and welcome blessing
